Irish Open Volunteers

The success of the Irish Open continues to hinge on the amazing support we receive from clubs, officials and volunteers from all corners of the country and the World. Our aim is to continue to promote our sport nationally and internationally on the pillars of respect, friendship and community spirit and to continue to do this while supporting a very worthy charity.

The martial arts play such a big and positive role in all our lives.  We as Martial Artists / Athletes / Coaches see first-hand the amazing impact Martial Arts can have on children whether its increased confidence, self-control, helping them through hard times or developing the next wave of World Champions.

It is a testament to their continued commitment that no member of the Irish Open organising committee or any volunteer is paid in any way whatsoever, the event is run on a not for profit basis, by a group of volunteers under a committee and constitutional structure, with any and all profits being donated to the Irish Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Children

The Irish Open would not work without the support we receive from Friends, Family, Club Members and of course the amazing Irish Open Officials. To continue running the Irish Open and to continue our support of the ISPCC.......

We Need Your Help

If you you, your students or your friends are willing to give some time why not ask them to come to Dublin, soak up the positive energy of the world’s most renowned Martial Artists. We would hope that sharing that positive energy with every member of your school, organisation and club will pay dividends for you and your students for years to come!

32 x Ring Coordinators

(All judging officials receive a free Irish Open Referee Shirt)

32 x Table Officials

20 x Ring Guards

(All floor staff receive a free Irish Open Staff T-Shirt)
