Age & Skills Divisions Explained

  • Younger Cadet: 12 years and under (on or before 1st March 2013)
  • Older Cadet: 13 years to 16 years (on or before 1st March 2013)
  • Senior: 17yrs plus (on or before 1st  March 2013)
  • Beginner: First three grades of your grading system  
Special Note: If a referee sees an a competitor who in their opinion should not be in the beginners section, the fighter will be moved in to the intermediate/advanced section.  A beginner must be at a beginners skill level.

Accident & Health Insurance

Please note each participant MUST have their own accident and health insurance to cover them attending and participating at the Irish Open 2013.  it is the responcibility of the Instructor to ensure this is in place before his student enters the competition.
