Dear Friends in the Martial Arts:

The martial arts play such a big and positive role in all our lives. we truly value the importance of children in our society and the significant role they play in our community and future.

The success of the Irish Open is dependent on peoples support not just fighters, but coaches and officials to.  it is about the martial arts community and people associated with it, cooperating and running a fund raising event for a worthy charity.
WE NEED HELP TO DO THIS, YOUR HELP.

No member of the Irish Open organising committee or any volunteer is paid in any way whatsoever, the event is run on a not for profit basis, by a group of volunteers under a committee and constitutional structure, with any and all profits being donated to the Irish Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Children.  We are delighted to have a member of the ISPCC sitting on our organising committee.

We would cordially invite you, your friends and students to join us in our special tribute to our spectacular Martial Arts Leaders who are helping us build and mend the fabric of our nation and the FUTURE LEADERS who will guarantee the quality of life in our country for our children and our children’s children.

The Irish Open
Mission Statement reads as follows:

To provide a world class event wherein all true world class competitors and champions-to-be can excel, compete, learn and share the spectacular drama, excitement and character building qualities that are the essence of the martial arts and the Irish Open International. To treat all participants fairly and honestly, with integrity and character. To raise much needed funds for the ISPCC and support the children of Ireland in a positive fashion.

We seek your support in carrying that dream forward for 2011.

Hand pick your students who will come to Dublin, soak up the positive energy of the world’s most renowned martial artists and who can share that positive energy with every member of your school, orginisation and club — this will be a weekend that can pay dividends for you  your students and your orginisation for years to come!

For 2010, We are once again personally reaching out to our fine officials — OUR OFFICERS who have played such a great role in the development of our art and the  Irish Open International, in order to give each of them the kind of recognition they deserve on our web site, visited by tens of thousands from around the world. I want them to know you.

If you would like to be one of those key people, here is what I ask of you. Please send me a photo shot of yourself — shot with a digital camera, by Emailing the Irish     open committee on IRISHOPEN@GMAIL.COM
